Greening the Built Environment as a Response to Climate Change - SOLD OUT

Join the Koshland Science Museum and the National Building Museum for a special evening presentation on green design concepts for your home and community. Dr. Tim Beatley, Teresa Heinz Professor of Sustainable Communities, and Dr. Bruce Hayden, Professor and Chair, Department of Environmental Sciences, both from the University of Virginia, will discuss the relationship between architecture and climate change. Learn how specific design features can mitigate potential climate effects on the urban environment.

Advance ticket purchase is required. Tickets may be purchased through the National Building Museum website; please write "KSM" in the online comment section to receive the discounted $12 admission. This program will be held at the Marian Koshland Science Museum, 6th and E Streets, NW.
