Cure your cabin fever with a free day at the Marian Koshland Science Museum!

Explore life above and below the ice caps with stunning visuals capturing the polar landscape and its inhabitants.

The day's events will include a discussion from 1-2 pm with Dr. Thomas Wagner, program director of Antarctic Geology and Geophysics in the Office of Polar Programs at the National Science Foundation. Dr. Wagner will present cool facts and science about Antarctica, and show real-life artifacts from dinosaur heads to rocks and plane models.

Dr. Wagner is a volcanologist, who has traveled to and explored Antarctica and the South Pole. After completing his Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Wagner spent six years on the faculty and as provost for academic affairs at the University of Papua New Guinea. He joined the National Science Foundation in 2002.

Complimentary hot chocolate will be available throughout the day.
