Saturday October 18th
As part of Earth Science Week and No Child Left Inside, the Koshland Science Museum presents a free family day that explores the science hidden in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, DC. Challenge yourself as you come across clues and activities, all with a scientific angle. Play on your own, as a pair, or in teams, as long as you complete your puzzles by 5 PM.
The rules are simple:
1) Pick up your clues and map, and have your time card filled out at the museum.
2) Go to town and answer as many questions as you can in any order.
3) Bring your answers and time card back, and once verified we will enter your final time.
4) The person/pair/team with the shortest completion time and all correct answers gets bragging rights and a little something extra.
You will need:
A.) A digital camera or camera phone, so you can share your findings immediately.
B.) Comfortable clothes for any weather: we go rain or shine.
C.) Pen or pencil to take notes and record your answers.
