January 31, 2008 Washington, DC –The Marian Koshland Science Museum of the National Academy of Sciences was featured on WUSA 9 News Now’s morning program.

Meteorologist Howard Bernstein visited the museum from 5 -7 AM, holding several live discussions with Koshland’s Deputy Director Erika Shugart. Shugart explained the interactive exhibits--the Wonders of Science, Global Warming Facts, and Infectious Disease: Evolving Challenges to Human Health. A small crew of intrepid volunteers and staff also arrived bright and early to demonstrate how visitors can utilize and enjoy the exhibits.
