Group Visit Overview
To book a group visit, complete a Group Visit Request Form. The museum’s Group Reservation Coordinator will respond to your request within two (2) business days.
Group admission rates are $7 per adult, or $4 for students and military. Tour guides, tour planners, or event organizers and chaperones will receive free admission for the visit.
Please review the following museum policies to ensure that your group has a successful and streamlined visit:
- “Groups” are defined as 20 or more paid admissions organized in advance by a group leader or tour planner.
- All groups require a reservation.
Reservation requests are not considered as final until you receive a confirmation message from the museum.
- Reservations require advance payment in full before requests are approved. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a notice from the museum.
- The museum accepts Visa and MasterCard, as well as checks made payable to the Marian Koshland Science Museum. Checks are accepted for group reservation payment only.
- The museum is a smoke-free facility.
- Please refrain from food, beverages, or chewing gum while touring the museum.
- The museum recommends that you allow a minimum of one hour the group visit.
The museum’s Group Tour Director is available to work with tour planners to ensure that the visit meets your group’s needs. With advance notice, the museum can work to accommodate special requests. Please include any requests on the Group Visit Request Form.
For group arrivals:
- Use the museum’s main entrance at 525 E Street, NW (the door is located at the NE corner of 6th & E Streets, NW).
- Group leaders should bring their confirmation notice to expedite check-in at the museum lobby.
- All group members must enter the museum at the scheduled arrival time.
- If arriving by bus or motor coach, visitors should leave bags and backpacks on the coach as there is limited storage at the museum, and the museum cannot be held liable for lost items.
- Buses can drop-off and pick-up visitors on E Street, NW. Bus parking is available at Union Station or the Verizon Center. For more information on tour bus parking, visit www.ddot.dc.gov.
