Happiness Is... Video Challenge

This is a web challenge.

MUSEUM STAFF CHOICE: (Wannabe) Famous Dershbein with a video that  that can be seen here:

What was the happiest moment of your life? Was it getting your first pet?  Graduating high school? Getting married? Or becoming a parent? Share your joy!

As part of the museum’s Life Lab, we are collecting videos about the range of experiences that people have throughout their lives. We want to highlight that people can be happy at all ages.


Create video that answers the question "What was the happiest moment of your life?"

Submission Deadline: 
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 - 2:00pm



1. Create a short (3 minutes or less) video that answers the question: “What was the happiest moment of your life?”  You can see examples submitted by visitors to the museum here:

2. Upload it to YouTube and make it public.

3. Fill out the form at the link below to alert us of your submission. You will be asked for your name and e-mail address.  If you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian’s permission.

Evaluation Criteria: 

All videos that are appropriate and on topic will be featured in the museum’s Life Lab and on our YouTube channel.  The museum staff will choose their favorite to highlight on the website.



Special Rules

Children under 13 years old are not eligible to participate in the challenge. Individuals younger than 18 years old must get a parent of guardians permission and abide by the terms and conditions of the third party site.

Thanks for your comment.  We thinking that focusing on happiness is a great idea as well.  We didn't get too many entries, but did recognize a fun video that was entered by two visitors to the museum.  We plan on running another video challenge again soon.
