Summer Hands-On Science - Health & the Human Body: July 22

Explore how the human body works through hands-on science this July at Koshland. Each session investigates a different aspect of the body – everything from DNA to why our skin burns after too much sun exposure. Visitors can compare DNA and amino acids, experiment with biomedical engineering, discover the different lobes of the human brain, and much more!

Join us every Saturday in July from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Here Comes the Sun: Solar Science at the Einstein Memorial - August 5

In anticipation of the August 21st total solar eclipse we’ve teamed up with educators and scientists from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center to bring you hands-on science demonstrations all about the sun! Meet up at the Albert Einstein Memorial where you can explore solar magnetism, learn how and where to view the upcoming eclipse, and participate in on-site solar observations.

This event is free; registration recommended, but not required.
